Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy outlines how Canada Wash Chemicals (“we,” “us,” or “our”) ships and handles orders containing industrial cleaning chemicals, car wash products, degreasers, and related materials. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
Order Processing Times
Orders typically ship within 1–3 business days once payment is confirmed.
Large orders (drums, bulk totes, pallet shipments) may require additional processing time.
Custom blends, made-to-order products, or out-of-stock items may require extra lead time.
You will be contacted if additional processing time is required.
Shipping Methods
We ship across Canada via:
Canada Post (non-hazardous items only)
UPS / Purolator / FedEx Ground
LTL freight carriers for drums, pallets, and bulk shipments
Local delivery (where available)
⚠️ Hazardous materials (acids, caustics, corrosives, oxidizers) cannot be shipped by air. Ground transport only.
Hazardous Materials (TDG) Shipping
Many Canada Wash Chemicals products are classified as hazardous under the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations.
These items:
Ship ground only
Require special packaging and labeling
May incur additional hazard handling fees
Must be received by a qualified person at your location
Examples of TDG-regulated items:
Acid truck wash products
Caustic detergents
Heavy-duty degreasers
Corrosive concrete cleaners
Certain specialty cleaners
We follow all WHMIS/GHS and TDG requirements for packaging, documentation, and labeling.
Shipping Restrictions
The following restrictions may apply:
Not eligible for air shipping
Any corrosive, flammable, or regulated cleaning product
Any drum (205L) or tote (1000L) container
Cannot ship to PO boxes
Hazardous materials and freight shipments require a physical address.
Customer must be present for freight delivery
LTL carriers may require:
A forklift
Loading dock
Pallet jack
Authorized receiver
If these are unavailable, notify us prior to shipment.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated based on:
Weight
Distance
Hazard classification
Packaging (jugs, pails, drums, totes)
Palletization requirements
Freight quotes for large orders may be provided manually.
We strive to offer competitive rates and will contact you if adjustments are needed.
Damaged Shipments
It is the customer’s responsibility to:
Inspect all packages upon arrival
Photograph any damage or leakage immediately
Note the damage on the delivery receipt (for freight shipments)
Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment
We will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
⚠️ If damage is not reported within 48 hours, we may not be able to file a claim with the carrier.
Failed Delivery Attempts & Re-Deliveries
Carriers may charge redelivery or storage fees if:
No one is available to receive the package
Delivery is refused
Incorrect address is provided
Access to the location is restricted
These fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Local Pickup (If Available)
Customers may be able to pick up orders at our facility by appointment.
We will confirm pickup times and loading requirements.
International Shipping
At this time, Canada Wash Chemicals primarily ships within Canada.
International shipments may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on regulations.
