Required Knowledge & Training

By purchasing, you acknowledge that:

Handling and Storage Responsibilities

Securing products away from unauthorized personnel

Preventing contact between incompatible chemicals (e.g., mixing acid & alkaline)

Providing appropriate PPE (gloves, eye protection, aprons, ventilation)

Maintaining spill control measures

Any product transferred to secondary containers must be properly labeled.


Environmental & Disposal Requirements

Users must dispose of unused chemicals and containers according to:

Municipal and provincial environmental regulations

SDS instructions

Industry best practices

Products must not be discharged into storm drains, waterways, or onto soil without ensuring compliance with local regulations.


Transportation and Hazardous Materials

Certain products (e.g., corrosive acids, alkaline detergents, solvent-based cleaners) may fall under TDG or DOT hazardous materials rules. These may require:

Ground-only transport

Hazard labels

Additional handling fees

Canada Wash Chemicals will ship these items in compliance with all TDG regulations. Customers receiving regulated products must be capable of safe unloading and storage.


Limitation of Liability

By purchasing and using our products, you agree that:

You assume responsibility for correct dilution, application, and use

Canada Wash Chemicals is not liable for damage caused by improper handling, surface misuse, or failure to follow SDS instructions

Suitability of a chemical for a specific job or material is the customer’s responsibility

Our liability is limited to the replacement or refund of the product purchase price

Always test products on a small area first, especially acids and high-alkaline detergents.
